STAWIN operation, the basis of our research and advisory services, provides professional data acquisition and processing services. STAWIN’s national operation team also includes a separate quality control unit and a technical innovation department for effective integration of rich data and technology resources and active optimization of business processes. Working closely with the STAWIN production lines, the operation department is able to provide continuous support to the nationwide research activities as well as business demands from clients at home and abroad.

STAWIN is able to implement comprehensive data collection (DC) operations on a nationwide basis, including data collection, questionnaire compiling, sample base management, sampling, coding, personnel management and agency management. With its three branches, five regional offices and 4,500 survey teams, STAWIN covers 30 provincial capital cities, 400 municipal cities and 1,000 county-level cities, and STAWIN also has direct agents in more than 80 major cities in China as the local data collection center. STAWIN’s extensive survey network coverage and excellent survey teams have ensured fast and accurate data collection.

DC teams are formed by employees from quantitative sector, qualitative sector, sampling department, coding unit and part-time staff management department, and the departments have worked together in a coordinated and efficient manner, and the DC teams are able to complete all types of quantitative and qualitative data collection tasks.

At present, STAWIN mainly conducts research through CATI/Telephone, Online Q&A, CAPI and traditional PAPI (hard copy questionnaire), and STAWIN is able to conduct research via household interview, mail surveys, street interviews, appointment interviews, observation and measurement (such as mystery shopping) as well as focus group discussions, online seminars and other forms.
